State/Regional Meet Preparation and Summer Strength

Today on the podcast, we are bringing you the second installment of our monthly Office Hours, a free Zoom meeting for Hero Lab members to ask questions, talk about various problems they’re dealing with and also discuss current trends happening inside the sport.

As many of you know I have an online educational group called The Hero Lab with 1000s of coaches, medical providers, parents, and people from all around the world working in gymnastics, it is an online forum where we share ideas, and I give lectures based on the topics the community wants.

It’s a really great community which I’m super grateful and super blessed that people are involved in, helping one another out.

Each month I started doing a small discussion group, of questions and answers, assisting people by troubleshooting problems that the group discusses together, sharing ideas and resources to find solutions and give support.

It’s really been cool and this one was super constructive.

WE DISCUSS: How to help gymnasts be safe and healthy during the championship season, avoiding burnout and niggling injuries.

Planning ahead, getting ready for the offseason, and making the most of summer gains.

Why you should be doing yearly planning; Steven’s success story.

And…

Exactly how to get buy-in with athletes to do strength.
