Want Solutions To Your Gymnastics Coaching Headaches?
Gymnastics is in a crazy spot right now. COVID-19, Athlete A, and Gymnastics Alliance movement have (rightfully ) caused gymnastics to change at the fastest rate we have ever seen. It’s quite the whirlwind.
Most people working in gymnastics are somewhere between stressed out and frustrated at best, to burnt out and hopeless at worst. I totally get it, as I’ve been riding the same emotional roller coaster.
The fear of the unknown is real. It’s easy to get stuck under the weight of everything 2020 has thrown at us. This is why more now than ever, we need to pull together as a community and help each other out.
With change happening at a blistering rate, and more information online than anyone can possibly consume, it feels like drinking water from a firing hose.
And after a while, this can wear you down. Not only do you still have to deal with problems in the gym, you feel stuck not having any practical solutions to try.
There are 3 things that I have seen make gymnastics professionals legitimately happier when working in our sport:
- They can get help when they need it.
And, that help is based on reliable, high-quality information from experts. This boosts their self-esteem happiness, and confidence levels because when gymnasts come to them with problems, they know how to help (and fix it). - They aren’t wasting tons of time, money, and energy to get that help. I’m all about putting in work and sacrificing a bit to get educated. But there is a huge difference between that and endlessly scrolling through social media groups, weeding through 37 YouTube videos, and spending $750 just to have access to the things you need to help gymnasts you work with. When people have quick, easy access to reliable information, they feel much happier with their day to day work in gymnastics.
- They have a sense of community and purpose. This is the real kicker. There is nothing that takes the wind out of your sails faster than when you feel like the only one trying to push uphill for culture change or big performance goals. Gymnastics professionals are at their best when they know their efforts are part of a larger mission. That usually means a community of like-minded people working to build happy, healthy, and high performing gymnasts.
With our current climate, and especially because of COVID-19 and information overload on the internet, these things feel like a real struggle sometimes.
My primary goal with SHIFT has always been the same since 2013 – give people working in gymnastics the tools and information they need to help change the lives of gymnasts they work with.
That’s why today after months of work, I’m proud to announce SHIFT’s brand new online gymnastics education and community platform – SHIFT HQ (click here to learn more).
I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited to launch something for the gymnastics community. And let me be clear: that is not some B.S. marketing gimmick. I genuinely believe it, and everything I said above.
I feel this platform will change the lives of gymnastics professionals around the world, and in turn thousands of lives of gymnasts they work with. This is why I’m so passionate about making sure people know about it.
Get Access As A Free Bonus!
I believe in people over profits, period. In these rough times, people just need a boost and a helping hand, not more financial stress. So, I decided to absorb the cost of creating and hosting the platform so we could provide a better experience for our community members.
Win A Free 1:1 Consult With Me!
Oh and P.S. – to celebrate launch week, one lucky winner who enrolls in The Hero Lab & SHIFT HQ this week will win a free 1 on 1 consult with me and my team : )
I rarely do this due to schedule demands but because I truly think SHIFT HQ will help so many people I’m incentivizing them to join. All you have to do for a chance to win is enroll in The Hero Lab prior to Sunday, October 3rd at 11:59 EDT.
Hope to see you inside! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
